I’ve not spent a lot of time on Absolute Write (but I’ve lurked around the WaterCooler for James D. Macdonald’s monstrous thread on novel writing). The Water Cooler isn’t back yet, but they’re working on it.

Note to people with websites: This should be a lesson to backup your site somewhere off your usual ISP. I back my work up to my storage space at my ISP, but Absolute Write’s experience should serve as a reminder that you many not always have access to that material, so keep it in another location as well.
