Powerless
I got home last night and tried to fire up my primary computer, but it was having none of it. I appear to have lost a power supply — it has enough juice to light the power light on my USB Hub, but otherwise, nada.
It’s under warranty. My challenge now is to get a response from the company I purchased it from. On the bright side, they don’t make you sit on hold for hours while they get to you, but I’m not sure what the wait time is for them to call back.
I’m likely to be off-line for a few days while I get this worked out. In an emergency, I have two other computers I could bring on line, but I don’t want to bother my ISP yet with changing the NIC registration. If I have to, I will. I have a few other options as well, but I doubt the world will be any worse for me not being on-line for a few days.
Oh Jean! I will have to lose my self in some wine (or caesars) until your return!

Glad to help. I have to ship the old power supply to Cleveland, then they’ll ship me a new one. I plan to send it out in the mail tomorrow, so feel free to take an extended party weekend. 🙂
