Another Boring Knee Update
This week, the knee feels better than it has in over a month. Stairs aren’t my favorite thing, but I could walk up and down them today without heavily supporting myself with the handrail. Still a little clunky when I’m bending the right knee to step down, but it’s getting better.
I have my follow-up with the physical therapist on Wednesday (the three techs that have been working with me over the last month have been great). We’ll see what the next step is then. I hope to be cleared to resume training on the stationary bike, walking, and riding my bike on the road if I want to (I’m not real fond of that, but I have a low traffic route through my neighborhood that takes me about 20 minutes to ride that isn’t too bad). And of course, taking Hershey on longer walks. I’ve been walking him to the end of the cul de sac and back (about two blocks each way, really), and he likes that, but I know he’d like to go further.
Sounds like you’re almost there! Good for you for taking Hershey out even though your knee was bad!
Hugs on the knee. Mine has talked to me a couple times today which is odd, being as it was perfectly quiet hiking through the mountains ten days ago. Go figure.
