Nice design. Clean, spare, with a tagline that plays well off the image.
I remember that slide, I think. Eep.
Thanks. I think nearly everyone who grew up in the sixties conquered a slide like this one. Mine had asphalt at the bottom of it, but I couldn’t find the right picture, and I can’t get back to Iowa to see if it’s even still there in that form.
I had to have a metal slide, and most slides today are plastic and short or have a covering over them. Liability lawsuits ruined perfectly dangerous playgrounds.
