Beginnings. First Draft Complete
I’ve completed the first draft of Beginnings, my PBW e-book challenge short story entry. I plan to complete revisions by next Sunday — it needs some bite.
I’ve signed up for FM’s Outline Marathon this week — I have to jot down some thoughts for this year’s NaNoWriMo entry, 30 Days to Regularity. I plan to use MindManager for most of that. I’ll alternate that with revisions. I also need to spruce up the biography and bibliography for the e-book. Thanks to Vision and the Air Power Journal, I do have a couple of writing credits. While my Air Power Journal book reviews were published in their respective print editions (Winter and Summer 1998), it’s easier to find them in the Chronicles Online Journal.
Good luck with NaNo.
And I’m jealous about your PBW story. I’m hoping to finish my rough draft tonight. And when I say rough, well, it’s not an exaggeration. But, what’s the worst that can happen? A couple hundred people making fun of me?
Hey, if it’s rough, at least you can do something with it. If it’s not there, it’s just not there.
It’s a learning tool. Good luck. As for people making fun of you, if they do, pat yourself on the back. At least you’re worth talking about, and you’re learning to take what the critics dish out.
Big good luck on NaNo! I’ve never been able to make my goals. 🙁 And congrats on finishing the first draft of your PBW challenge story! I can’t wait to read them!
