2007 Goals
These have emerged from last month’s “sausage making efforts” as well as are carried over from last year — either because they worked or they need to work:
Personal
- Seek to obtain the things money can’t buy that I desire (Self-acceptance; Positive approach to life; Play)
- Continue preparation for living with hubby
- Diet (Continue vegetarian lifestyle;Drink more water;Increase recipe repertoire)
- Exercise (Weight training; Aerobic improvement; More yoga)
- PhD application package
- Read widely
- Find house near the ranch
- Continue keeping my boss happy at work
- Keep getting rid of excess stuff around the house
Writing
- Finish Threads & Ties
- Finish One-Pass Revision of 30 Days to Regularity
- One-Pass Revision of Threads & Ties
- Write non-fiction e-book
- NaNo
- Continue researching agents
- Draft query letters
And a side note: I still have an undercurrent of excitement for Polar Bear on the Loose — I’m getting new ideas to implement in the revision. I’m not sure I’ll get to it this year, but it has grown to a trilogy with a capability to grow beyond that. This project is a labor of love that may or may not bear fruit anywhere else.
Happy 2007. Here’s hoping all your dreams and goals come true.
We’re in this together. You know I’m cheering with you. Feel the fear of change, and do it anyway. It’s exhilarating, and you’ll love the freedom, and the ride.Hugs.
Good luck achieving your goals this year!
