Odds and Tendons
I had the six month follow-up on my knee today. It’s ok, but I’m not satisfied with it. The doctor says it’s about where he expects it to be. I asked to go back in June. The left knee took about ten months before it became mostly pain-free. I figure by June, I’ll know if the right one has reached that point or not.
Colts vs Bears in the Super Bowl. Hmmm. Tough call. The Bears DEFENSE vs. the Colts hurry up offense and determination. I had the Chargers picked to go all the way against the Bears. At this point, I think I’d like the see the Colts pull it out, but they’re going to earn it.
How many of you noticed those interesting fumble-for-a-score-upon-recovery plays inserted yesterday? That’s gutsy stuff.
Will the Spurs pull it together this year? I certainly hope so. Of course, as I recall, they play this way until their Rodeo Road Trip, which begins next week. While they’re on the road, they tend to gel as a team. And, it’s useful to remember 27 other teams would love to play as “poorly” as the Spurs. If they were in the pathetic Eastern Conference, nobody would be complaining about their playing level, but they’re in the Western Conference, and with the Mavericks and the Suns in the picture, they just look bad.
I’m hoping your knee will get better before then, but definatly by June I hope it’s better.
I had the Saints pegged to go all the way. I guess now I’ll just watch the game with no real team in mind to root for. Although the Colts have Peyton Manning…oh well.
