To Mow or Not To Mow
Is that the question? It’s one of them. I don’t have much grass growing, but the weeds are doing exceptionally well, thank you. I guess that means I put the bagger on for one more week and whack them down again. Fire ants are popping up all over, so I’ll have to treat the yard for them. I’ll consider mixing up some weed killer and making the yard incredibly toxic. Hershey will like that, because I’ll bring him in the house for a day or two.
Vaccuuming. Also needs to be done. Natasha has selected rubber athletic matting as her scratching post of choice. It’s durable. It’s comparatively inexpensive. I let her go to town on it. Of course, it becomes very obvious when it’s time to vaccuum, because little black flakes are all over the floor. It’s one of the more interesting housekeeping indicators I’ve come across.
Truck bath. Yes. It’s dirty again. I need to wash it.
Dog walking. Hershey loves his walks. I need to get back in the habit of taking him every night. He’d be thrilled, and I suspect I’d be pleased too.
NBA Finals Watching. There will be plenty of that going on. I’ll spend some time at Panera this weekend catching up on email, blogs, and some other things. Unfortunately, I still seem to be avoiding writing. Not sure why. What’s your weekend looking like?
The lawn definitely needs mowing.
The flower beds need weeding and beheading.
The vehicles seem to prefer mud baths.
The house renovation is a disaster.
I think I’ll go visit my mom in the hospital and catch up with out-of-country relatives.
Sounds like a perfect plan, Valerie.
