Memorial Day, 2008 — 1 Comment

  1. Well said!

I spent the morning at a memorial for a young Sgt. in the USMC who lost his life in Iraq. He was an Eagle Scout in my son’s Troop. The scouts do a ceremony each year to remember him, and his parents always attend. It’s heart-wrenching and inspiring all at once to see that his parents still honor the service he gave.

Thank you for your service and congratulations on the retirement . . . I’ll see what I can do about filling the vacancy! 🙂

    Later!
