Trimming and Reading
I’m in San Antonio, and we’re trimming bushes and doing general yard work. There’s a lot more to do, but we’re knocking it out a little at a time. Thankfully, we’re finally getting some rain, and it’s coming just the way we need it. Brief showers that stop long enough for the water to soak into the ground, then it starts again. Several of these a day, and we’ll get a nice base on the yard.
We finished the workshop over at Forward Motion. I’ve done a second read through on a friend’s manuscript. I need to write up the critique and get it back to her. I’m also reading Holly Lisle’s Hawspar, which I managed to snag from the post office box before I left Central Texas last week. I’ve already finished Lynn Viehl’s Twilight Fall.
I’m reading Hawkspar, too. Wow, good book!
Yard work? Are you unpacked yet? I ask only because I just recently emptied the last box a few weeks ago. Hey, we’ve only been here three years! 🙂
