More Contact Dermatitis
Oh, joy of joys. I was pulling vines off the back wall of the new building yesterday. Guess what I have today? Yep.
I wore long sleeves, a jacket, gloves, and a hood, but my face was exposed. I brushed hair from my face several times. Today, I have the beginnings of contact dermatitis near and on my nose, near my eyes, and in a couple of other places. It’s that ominous itchy feeling.
I’ve put some Ivarest on it, and that should help. I’ve had to have a three month course of steroids to stop this before, so I hope I can keep it from getting started. The proximity to my eyes and nasal membranes has me most concerned. Yes, I’ll be watching it closely.
{[hugg}} I hope youve caught it early and it’ll go away quickly. Elm leaves do the same thing to me. {{hugg}}
It’s all around my eyes, so I’m sure I’m going to make a trip to the doctor tomorrow. I just hope he can get me in.
I don’t think it was poison ivy, but there’s something back there on that wall that does not agree with me.
