Day 12: Cumulative Total 23,252
There we have it. Two thousand words today. Well, forty words shy. No matter. My characters rebelled and plotted my assassination. They took matters into their own hands and performed unspeakable acts with one another. Apparently, they were completely dissatisfied with my handling of things. That’s fine. I am completely dissatisfied with the way the whole book has been going. There’s always a few unspeakable acts in any book. It’s first draft. Those things can be revised later.

I think that will be very interesting when I go back to earlier scenes in the book and begin to flesh them out. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens when I do that. It might be messy…
