Page Nesting on WP
I just learned how to nest pages on WordPress. Yes, instructions for how to do it were there in the sidebar all along, but I just figured it out today. My theme doesn’t fit more than four pages across comfortably, so I always had to find a way to keep the number of pages down. It wasn’t a big deal, I just merged all but the two newest book pages into a single page. But now, as you can see, I’ve made them subordinate pages to the current year’s reading.
You can also establish how you want them laid out by telling the program what order you want them to appear — handily located in the right sidebar of the edit page for that page. It’s so easy — just read the instructions. But if you aren’t aware it’s possible, you don’t tend to look for even the most obvious instructions.
