Things for iPad
I gulped and bought Things for iPad. I have Things for Mac and love it, but my Mac Mini stays here in Central Texas, so I can’t take it with me to update my tasks or next actions (in keeping with the Getting Things Done terminology).
At $19.99, that’s the most expensive app I’ve bought or am likely to buy. Heck, Pages was $9.99. But I use Things and love it. The only thing I would love more than Things for Mac is Things I can take with me. I can do that on iPad now.
I didn’t want to put too much on the program before I had a chance to sync with the Mini, so when I got to Central Texas today, one of the first things I did (after getting the iPad WiFied in to the network) was find out how to sync Things for Mac and Things for iPad. It worked beautifully! Bliss.
Now, when I’m away from the Central TX house, I can update Things on the iPad and just sync the two when I get back. I’m thrilled.
