NaNo Day 11: 26274
It’s still another slow NaNo day, but I’ve finished Dickie’s story. Tomorrow, I’ll begin adding Danny’s perspective (yes, the name still has to change, but I don’t know what it is yet). That, in some ways, may be difficult to do 1667 words at a time to “rebut” Dickie’s 1667 word scenes. Whatever I come up with, I know I have a lot of fleshing out to do from earlier scenes, so, when the time is right, I’ll wind up going back and doing that. I have a tough time with it, so I hope I can come up with the words some other way.
As noted, I broke the half way point today, finishing with 26,274 cumulative words. On the downhill side of things, I have 23,726 words remaining. Yesterday and today have both been particularly slow for me. I had been striving to remain one day behind on the Backward NaNo goal. I am now two days behind with 6,164 words to catch up. I really hope Danny’s words will flow prolifically for the next few days, making that easier to achieve.
Woohoo! You’re doing great!
