Hubby’s New Truck
Hubby likes to trade his vehicles every three years, so the 2009 Navigator L 4×4 was exchanged for a 2012 Navigator L 4×4 yesterday. I took it’s “baby” pictures this morning.
On the outside, it looks exactly the same as the 2009. You can’t tell here but instead of Black, it’s a Tuxedo Black (which, up close, has a kind of glittery effect). The big difference is the interior which is black instead of the lighter color the 2009 had, and we both like it a lot better. The only obvious difference on the outside is the rear view mirrors — they have the little blind spot mirrors built in (wish mine had those, but I’m not going to trade the whole truck in just for that). The only option besides the heavy duty rubber floor mats is the heavy duty towing package. The second bench seat is a no charge option, and getting that allows easy insertion of a full-size sheet of plywood into the back end with the seats folded down. That’s the beauty of the L (besides the large space behind the third seat for the critters to travel in comfort).
Here are the two of them lined up in front of the house this morning. Mine got a bath as part of its service visit this morning before I returned to Central Texas.
