Cats: The Big Cats
We went out of town for the weekend. When we got back home, I discovered I hadn’t gotten the parlor door all the way shut, so kitties had the run of the house. They must have had a good time, judging from the mess. I had an open package of new socks in my bedroom. Lady loves socks, and they were everywhere. My mom gave me some hand-knit wash cloths, and I’ve had to take one particular one away from Lady. She got to that and played with it. (Mom, I may need a few more dishcloths — Lady seems to think they belong to her!)
While I was snuggling Natasha, I heard a plastic bag rustle on the kitchen counter. I turned around, and sure enough, Lady was trying to help herself to one of the new toys I bought over the weekend for them. I shooed her off the counter and pulled out the toy she’d already gotten through the plastic bag to get to. Yes, she knew the white rat was just for her. She and Tarzan have been enjoying it.
Natasha is back for thirds on her snuggles. She missed me.
