In addition to homeless cats, I’ve also taken in a homeless peach tree. The neighbors thought it was dead and replaced it in their orchard, but then it sprouted a few leaves last year. They gave it to me. Poor Ms. Peach is slow to blossom and leaf, but so far, she’s hanging in there. While other trees are much further along in the process, Ms. Peach is gamely trying to catch up with the other trees:

I love nursing plants back to life too and I LOVE peach trees! Ours are little too, but flowering and promise to bring us a couple more fruits than last year. 🙂 Lovely G post.
