Ice Cream
Sorry. No recipe for ice cream. I’m not sure what I was thinking when I chose it for today’s topic. I will tell you that unbridled consumption of Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream is bad for your waistline (don’t ask — you really don’t want to know, but trust me on that fact).
These days, since I’m back in Texas, when I eat ice cream, I eat Blue Bell. I am reasonably certain that unbridled consumption of Blue Bell Ice Cream will produce the same results as the same consumption of Ben and Jerry’s. Feel free to test my theory. I’m not going to.
My favorite Blue Bell Ice Cream flavors? Mint Chocolate Chip. Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. Cookies ‘N Cream. Dutch Chocolate. Homemade Vanilla. Spiced Pumpkin Pecan sounds good. I’ll have to try that when it’s season rolls around. Mr. L. will only eat Homemade Vanilla. Well, sometimes he’ll eat Dutch Chocolate (when I buy the package of single serve combo Homemade Vanilla and Dutch Chocolate cups). I like their sherbets, too.
What’s your favorite ice cream flavor(s)?
Ice cream! I wish I could eat it by the ton, at least by the container. If only! Favorites, Chocolate mint, Pralines and cream, Rocky Road and, and, and…
Fun post. Visting from the A to Z.
Omigosh, I am a sucker for ice cream! I’m glad you picked it for I in the A to Z Challenge. My taste is simple, I love strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla (not all together, Neapolitan is only good with birthday cake!), and cookies n cream. Yum!
Great, now I’m craving ice cream. Lol!!
My ice cream splurges are over. I can only have one scoop with a Tablespoon of sugar free strawberry jelly and the glucose conditions have to be right.
One scoop is really enough when you think about it. Take small bites, don’t do anything else while you’re eating it, and enjoy the full flavor. True for anything you’re eating, really.
