Blogging A-Z Challenge is Approaching
The premise is simple: Blog every day except Sunday in April beginning with the Letter A and continuing until you finish with the Letter Z. Choose a theme or do random blogging — it’s entirely up to you. Don’t have a blog yet but want to play? Go to wordpress.com or blogger.com and set up a blog for yourself, then head over to the Blogging A-Z site and sign up. Then, of course, all you have to do is write a few posts. It’s tougher than you might think, but certainly not overwhelmingly difficult. Start early and schedule your posts. That will leave you time to visit some of the other participating blogs.
The whole idea is to discover new and interesting people. Some people are exploring now, and I’ve just finished logging the writers (and a few others of interest) in the first 500 to sign up to Too Many Tabs to check on later. As of this writing, 682 people have already signed up.
If you’re stopping in to visit from the challenge, please consider signing up for my RandR Fiction Club to get our club newsletter (it’s every other month, so it won’t flood your inbox, and it’ll help you find your way back here easily if you forget). Sign up can be done in the top banner bar, the sign up box to the right in the side bar, or by clicking the checkbox after you leave a comment (make sure the address you leave in your comment is a valid address — everyone must click the validation link in their email to confirm it’s really them signing up).
My theme for the challenge will be fiction — mostly short, some snippets. If you want the tentative title list, you’ll want to join the RandR Fiction Club — I’m sneak peeking the list in the next edition.
Good to see you getting ready!
