MGR Tour: Villains!
Welcome to February on the Merry Go Round Blog Tour — good to see you here. This month’s topic is villains. You have to have one, or there’s not a story to tell. The villain I’m talking about this month is a nasty one — it has a prominent place in all our lives.
What or who could it be? Ideas? I’ll wait.
Time. Time will eventually take it’s toll on all of us. It’s the ultimate villain — both in the short-term and in the long-term. Short term, we find ourselves procrastinating and not getting some things done we really want or need to get done. Long-term, it all adds up to thwarting our achievement of our dreams. Or, we’re particularly focused on achieving our dreams and forget our family and friends are important to us too, and our relationships with them suffer.
Finding that balance where we’re achieving what’s really important to us in our lives and those of the people we love is the ultimate story as we tackle the villain common to all of us. Although the villain is common, each story is a little different.
How is your story coming along?
Uh . . . I’m reading blogs, e-mails, and forums before starting my writing for the day? Guess the villain’s winning. 😉
I totally forgot to do my MGR Tour post this month. Maybe I should start planning next month’s now.
