Copycat
Travis bounced his ball. He didn’t mind playing by himself. The ball was fun. He could chase it and kick it for what seemed like forever. Sometimes the other cat would play, too, but he always played with his own ball. Sometimes, he would kick his ball at the other cat, but he would kick it right back at Travis, watching until Travis began playing with his own ball again. Sometimes, the other cat would play what his humans called patty cake with him, but Travis could never get him to wrestle and play with him. Very peculiar. Travis would try, but resumed playing with his ball when the other cat wouldn’t play back. What else could he do?

Very clever, haha. It took me a couple of seconds (slow brain) then I got it. I do like this post.
At least that other cat never leaves the mirror to try to take his food. 😉
Not a very social cat is he?
Poor Travis!
At least the other cat doesn’t have a laser pointer. 🙂
Cute story. Ball was always my favorite game.
Totally creative POV! I love it 🙂
This is really very good!
Aha! I had to think about this one for a few seconds. Travis as a cat’s name threw me. Tell Travis to play hide and seek. The other cat will never find him! LOL
LOL! Great idea!
I like that it’s a cat, but it reads like a kid.
I’d only use “the other cat” on the first reference, and give the other cat a name for the rest of it, if I were looking to revise.
I love it.
