Cats: Too Much Food
With just Sneaky eating from the feeder, food is left over from day-to-day. When I set the feeder up, I programmed it to feed two cats (because I had three cats hanging around, and I just wanted to supplement their diet). It’s been feeding cats since November 2012, and it’s never had food remain overnight before. This week, it’s been carrying food over. I thought with Moose gone, one of three other cats I’ve seen in the neighborhood might begin eating here. So far, that has not happened. I don’t want to mess with reprogramming the feeder, because it’s a pain in the neck to do. I’ve been waiting for the batteries to die, but it’s still on it’s original batteries. For now, I can continue to monitor things. If another cat appears, that will be fine. If the batteries die before that happens, I’ll program for a little less food.
Lady, Tarzan, Floyd, Delta, and Natasha traveled to San Antonio with me this week, and Lady and Natasha helped me with yard work in the back yard. Ruby, Rossie, Ajax, and Daphne helped Mr. L hold down the fort in Central Texas. Everyone seemed to have a good week.
