Cats: Looking for Walter
I haven’t seen Walter for a week. I’m going to have to put the game camera out to catch him. Before I trapped him to get him neutered, he would lounge on the porch (but dart away if we came near). I miss him. He mostly comes by in the early morning, evening after dark, and late night now.
Boomer comes up, usually early morning and evening just after dark. He tends to look a little more ragged. I’m not sure if that’s due to his medium length coat or if he’s ill.
Sneaky, of course, is a regular and doing well.
Rossie seems to have been out and about more. Still upstairs when we’re up for the day, but I’ve caught her on the counter via the game camera routinely in the 2:30 am time frame. Mr. L is planning to wean her off the special feeding upstairs, primarily because as Rossie has filled out, he’s had to raise the dresser to a height high enough for the other cats to get underneath, too. Ajax has been one critter eating Rossie’s food. We think her confidence may be increased enough for her to come down to eat overnight. She won’t willingly let me near her, but I’ve seen her out and about more, and as long as I don’t go into the room when she’s there, she’ll stay on the bed with the other cats if I go upstairs during the day.
