J is for Jolene
Jolene is a friend of Stephen’s. I have no idea how they became friends, but, somehow, through Stephen, Jolene and I became friends. Facebook Friends, I guess. We thought we were finally going to meet on this trip through Los Angeles (last time we were there, Jolene was out of town). We thought we were going to meet on Friday evening. Jolene’s life had other plans, because she still couldn’t get back to town in time for us to meet. One of several disappointments on the trip (I had a friend in Wisconsin who had to cancel due to a work commitment, too), but when the time is right, Jolene and I will meet. I’ve been blessed to meet a lot of people in person who started out as on-line friends. It’s always been a good experience.

I look forward to meeting some of my on-line friends in person!
After all these years I’ve never met one of my blogging buddies in person. Maybe one of these days.

I got to meet some terrific online friends, about this time last year, it was.
Sorry you missed Jolene again. Maybe she’ll take a trip soon, and come to see you!
She’s hoping to do that, Lyn. I sure enjoyed that meeting last year — met a whole bunch of wonderful people.
J here, stopping by from the #atozchallenge 2015!
Great post. Crazy how we have friends we’ve never met in today’s world!
@JLenniDorner
I’ve never met any of my online friends. Yet. Hope some day I do.
