M is for Margaret
I’ve known Margaret on line for at least a decade, probably longer. Our paths have never crossed in such a way we could meet in person. Margaret lives in Reno, so we planned a stop in Reno specifically to meet Margaret and her husband. We spent 24 hours in Reno, did a few touristy things, and met Margaret and her husband for dinner. We’d interacted on a Google Hangout before to work through some technical matters, but meeting in person was much more fun.

It’s always such a pleasure to meet someone you’ve “known” online for such a long time. I remember well, the first time I met my editor, after we worked together for a long time online. Nothing beats the old fashioned face-to-face. Thanks for sharing.
I’ve never been an alphabet entry before :). Yes, meeting you and your husband was grand fun. You never know what to expect when planning something like this, especially with spouses pulled into the mix. It says something that we practically closed the restaurant down. As to the timing, a little more than 10 years I think, but don’t quote me on that :).
Wow–that’s wonderful! Now I’m a bit sad that I couldn’t have crashed your dinner. The conversation must have been wonderful.
