June Property Update
Better late than never. For various reasons, it seems like it’s been a busy month. Let’s see how it looks here.
San Antonio House: Mr. L went down for a couple of weeks and took care of the yard, replaced a bad board, fixed a window sill, primed and painted, repaired the back outside faucet, replaced the kitchen faucet, and moved the monitor top refrigerator and the big air compressor up to Central Texas (loading them onto the trailer by himself). Yes. He’s tired.
The Ranch: Nothing planned for this month, but I drove by it last week, and the hayfield looks marvelous.
The Store: Mr. L hitched the trailer to the truck and loaded the lawn tractor inside and took it to the store. I mowed the thigh high grass while he moved sticks out of my way. I went over a few days later and groomed the grass by running the riding mower over it again. Much better.
The Shop: Mr. L is still working on the Jeep. We unloaded the monitor top refrigerator and the big air compressor from the trailer. Once he gets the big compressor installed there, he’ll move the medium compressor to the garage, and the smaller portable to the San Antonio house.
The Central Texas House: I’ve been keeping even with the mowing and yardwork, barely. We had a storm on Memorial Day and we lost the second third of the cedar tree, thankfully it missed the house but took out a few limbs on the South side of the pecan. Our neighbor (who has a tree trimming and removal business) cleaned it up for us, then I hired him to remove the remaining third of the tree (the first third had fallen several years ago). That tree is gone. Big relief.
