Cats: Kitten
Kitten still doesn’t have a name, but she’s content to sleep on my chest. (Yes, I had to move her shortly after I took that photo — my hand went to sleep.) Or under a heater. Or behind the trunk. Or nearly anywhere.
I think she may have a touch of the illness she had when I trapped her, so when I take Tarzan in for his shot on Tuesday, I’m going to take her with me to get her checked out again. Despite that, she has been alert and more inclined to play, usually in the evening after I put her back in the cage. I put a ball in there, and she rolls it around.
Rossie hasn’t taken to her the way I hoped she might. In spite of that, since Kitten has been here, Rossie has been more, dare I say, outgoing. Rossie was laying in the open and did not move when I walked by her one time. That was a first. Mostly, she’s been relaxing (not hunched up, but relaxed) in her favorite spot behind the cage or in the window. I’m very pleased with Rossie’s development over the last couple of months. I hold great hope she’ll be able to integrate into the household, and I believe Kitten will, too. I hope to come up with a suitable name before the weekend is out.
Kitten looks completely relaxed and happy in your arms!
