Cats: Cozy in San Antonio
All the indoor cats are in San Antonio where the house is smaller, they can enjoy the garden window (each of them loves it, and we have up to six cats crammed into the window at any given time, but the more usual number is two to four), and for the last several trips down, nobody has had to spend time in the cage.
Sapphire is getting a couple of hours each day in the cat bag snuggled on my chest. According to my friend Margaret, this works well for ferals who were invariably separated from their mother too soon. This snuggling does seem to be helping Sapphire. We aren’t at the point where she seeks us out yet, but she is more mobile in the house. After a long session yesterday afternoon, I saw Sapphire running through the house, checking out the living room (an area I’ve never seen her willingly enter before), and, perhaps, playing with Lady. At least, I’m certain Lady was playing. I’m not certain Sapphire agrees.
My posts will be scarce for the rest of the month, since I’m mostly in San Antonio on a mobile connection.
