August 2017 Property Update
San Antonio House: I spent a week in San Antonio. When I arrived, the grass was crunchy and dry. I began soaker watering immediately, and it perked right up. The grass greened up and stood, so I had to mow it before leaving. I’ll be back in early September, so we’ll see how well it holds up.
The Ranch: Wildlife census.
The Store: It’s been so dry, nothing to do there.
The Detail Shop: Painting on new window. Gravel installed between shop doors.
The Shop: Mr. L did a tremendous job clearing brush from behind the shop. He’s also been sorting and putting away parts and other things. He’s also making more bases for our canopies for the swap meet at the end of the month.
The Central TX House: Lawn has been mowed and trimmed. I’ve trimmed bushes (again). I’m making progress on the “Before I Die: Clean House” project. Yes, that’s what I called it. The bathrooms, upstairs hallway, entry hall, and stairs are complete. I’ve begun work on the kitchen. I created a project in, of all places Aeon Timeline, and it’s coming along comfortably.
What is Aeon Timeline? And congrats on the progress!
So far, it’s a Mac-only timeline program primarily for fiction writers (fantasy writers can even create their own calendar). In this second iteration, they’ve added a project management tool, which is what I’m using for this project.
