Cats: It’s A…Dog?
Our lives were turned upside down a week ago, and we’ve recovered just barely enough to talk about it. The humans brought something our size, furry, and obnoxious home. They moved our food and water towers into the entry hall, but left our litter boxes in the kitchen (there are still some more private ones upstairs). They put up a gate between the kitchen and the rest of the house and also set up the cage again, but this time, they aren’t putting any of us in it.
What has disrupted our lives so much and has our curiosity piqued? This!
That picture was from last Sunday when he appeared at our house. Daddy brought him home. After a week, we’ve been working with him, and, while he has a long way to go, we think he’s going to be okay. The humans call him Jase (an abbreviation of Jason of Jason and the Argonauts fame.) We aren’t quite sure what to think of him, but Ajax and Lady have paved the way for meeting him. Daphne and Tarzan are checking him out now. Sneaky has given him a sniff or two. The rest of us check him out when he’s in the cage and watch through the gate. He’s our size, but we’ve heard he’s going to get a lot bigger. It’s only been a week, but we think so.
