Clean Again

Philosophical Meanderings, Too Posted on February 16, 2004 by JeanFebruary 16, 2004

The dusting of snow we got last night (enough to blanket the grass) was enough for me to roll around in and clean my fur the natural way–just barely. It’s nearly gone today (especially because I used a lot of it last night). But I will feel better for a … Continue reading →

Snow! Please, Please, Please…

Philosophical Meanderings, Too Posted on February 15, 2004 by JeanFebruary 15, 2004

I see snow flurries. No accumulation yet, but I can hope…

NBA and HipHop

Philosophical Meanderings, Too Posted on February 15, 2004 by JeanFebruary 15, 2004

I read an article this morning in Her newspaper talking about the NBA and HipHop culture. In case you’re uncertain, I don’t fit well with HipHop culture. In fact, I’ll probably unwittingly demonstrate that in this post. Polar bears don’t tattoo well for one thing. For another, our fur doesn’t … Continue reading →

Three Spurs Games!

Philosophical Meanderings, Too Posted on February 5, 2004 by JeanFebruary 5, 2004

The snow’s all gone, but I’ll be able to watch the next three Spurs games on TV. TNT tonight, ESPN tomorrow, and TNT again on Monday. Yippee! (Somehow, that doesn’t sound like anything a polar bear would say. You people are having a strange effect on me.)

Snow!

Philosophical Meanderings, Too Posted on January 25, 2004 by JeanJanuary 25, 2004

Finally! We have snow. A couple inches. I went out, rolled around, and got the first real good bath I’ve been able to get in over a year. Whew! That felt good! It was a nice, dry, crunchy snow. Perfectly blissful. I’m going back out to savor it.

Spurs Update

Philosophical Meanderings, Too Posted on January 24, 2004 by JeanJanuary 24, 2004

The Spurs are recovering from their fall cellar performance. They have not yet made the transition to stellar, though. Last night they pulled out an exciting win at the last 3.8 seconds thanks to a terrific 3 pointer by Tony Parker against Phoenix, the team at the bottom of the … Continue reading →

Back in Virginia

Philosophical Meanderings, Too Posted on January 6, 2004 by JeanJanuary 6, 2004

They took me to a seafood restaurant (I use the term loosely–they didn’t have a single seal recipe on the menu!) called Ralph & Kacoos. It was OK. I’m not sure why They raved about it, but I guess Their tastes are different from mine. Then we went to the … Continue reading →

Polar Bear Party Time

Philosophical Meanderings, Too Posted on December 31, 2003 by JeanDecember 31, 2003

So. Just what does a polar bear do in San Antonio, Texas, on New Years’ Eve? She updates her Blog, of course! I can’t imagine much that happens over the next several days will be of much interest to me; however, She has promised to take me to a casino … Continue reading →

Texas in December

Philosophical Meanderings, Too Posted on December 28, 2003 by JeanDecember 28, 2003

I thought it was supposed to be chilly here. Instead, I’m running around shedding. Virginia was colder than this. A little front came in today to cool things off a bit, but it’s still in the 50s. Even so, I’ve enjoyed this trip. Everyone likes my hat. I hope She … Continue reading →
