The Onion | Mom Finds Out About Blog

Philosophical Meanderings, Too Posted on November 15, 2003 by JeanNovember 15, 2003

The Onion | Mom Finds Out About Blog I’m just a bear, but if I were him, I’d be less worried about what mom might say and more concerned about law enforcement agencies or employers finding out about illegal activities. And using my own words as probable cause to begin … Continue reading →

Dictation Marathon

Philosophical Meanderings, Too Posted on November 11, 2003 by JeanNovember 11, 2003

I’ve been dictating so much lately that my voice is hoarse. She’s up to 30k words, and She made a heckuva push this weekend. I finally had to quit at 30k–She wanted to go for 35k, but I had to plead on behalf of my vocalizer. She has to bowl … Continue reading →

Whew. After getting off to a slow start in the first quarter, the Spurs came back and dominated the game. Despite a last ditch effort in the fourth quarter by the Jazz, the Spurs prevailed.

So Despondent

Philosophical Meanderings, Too Posted on November 8, 2003 by JeanNovember 8, 2003

I’m so very despondent. Spurs lost in double overtime to the Lakers Thursday night. Tonight, it looks like Dallas needed someone to wipe the arena floor with–in the SBC Center. But, wait! With 5:05 left in the third quarter, the Spurs are up by two! Now they’re tied. Now they’re … Continue reading →

What Happened?

Philosophical Meanderings, Too Posted on November 3, 2003 by JeanNovember 3, 2003

The Spurs were leading, then the game was see-sawing. Then it was tied. Next thing I know, it’s 88-80, Final, and the Spurs lost! I get all excited and caught up on dictating a lot of action to Her, and this happens. That’s it. No more dictating this novel during … Continue reading →

Milwaukee and Wilder Times

Philosophical Meanderings, Too Posted on November 2, 2003 by JeanNovember 2, 2003

She dragged it out of me. The whole polar bear community knew about it, but I hadn’t planned on telling the human community, but the adventures I shared with Zero in Milwaukee came out yesterday. She told me it would probably be cut in the editing room, but it keeps … Continue reading →

Good to get the story out.

Philosophical Meanderings, Too Posted on November 1, 2003 by JeanNovember 1, 2003

We started “writing down the bones,” as they say, last night. I enjoyed the process much more than I thought I would, and She took dictation quite well.
