Cats: Exam Time
We had a busy week for veterinary preventive care this week. Daphne, Ruby, Rossie, and Delta all visited Dr. Valerie for exams and shots. Delta and Rossie got bladder ultrasounds. Delta’s looked clear, but we gave her a “just in case” shot, and Rossie had some cloudiness, so she got a “this should help you feel better shot.”
We were out feeding Sneaky and Junior their cans of Fancy Feast, and I saw a grey kitty sitting just outside the fence. Thinking it was Walter, I called to it and talked to it. I stepped inside the fence but didn’t come over. Finally, I approached it with food but soon realized it wasn’t Walter. This kitty had a collar and tag, so he has a home. He was the spitting image of Junior, including a curved tail similar to Junior’s. I’m going to guess this kitty found himself a home at a young age and is one of the lucky ones in the neighborhood.
Maybe Walter will turn up tomorrow.
I started a comment, but it got so long I decided to blog it at my place instead. 🙂
