No. National Novel Writing Month is still thriving. In this case, the 2G iPod nano my hubby found on the ground last Thanksgiving is giving up the ghost. It’s stuck on the Apple screen and emitting a high-pitched sound. I hope the battery dies before it either explodes or bursts into flames. Here’s a shot of the poor fella’:

 Here’s a close-up of the screen:  The bottom half was damaged when hubby found it. But there’s a short somewhere in the system now.

Fortunately, I sensed this coming earlier this week, and just last night, I ordered the black 8G model I lusted after a few weeks ago.
