Setting the Table for Solid Nutrition

Did you know your body was designed to heal itself? Yes, if you give it the proper ingredients (nutrition, pure water, sleep, and exercise), your body will rebuild itself and rid itself of impurities. Due to various reasons, our food sources have become depleted from the vitamins and minerals needed to grow food rich in all the ingredients our bodies need to repair themselves. Our diets have tended to involve more and more processed foods which, even though the natural vitamins and minerals that have been processed out are replaced with chemical equivalents, our bodies can’t use them as efficiently. There have been some suggestions that infusing nutrition supplements with pure essential oils enhances absorption of the nutrition in that supplement. If I understand correctly, in essence, the oil helps transport the nutritional components to where the body needs them.  If you wanted to start a solid nutrition program, what would be the best way to do that?

YL: Why Do I Believe Essential Rewards are A Great Deal for You?

Essential Rewards has been a great deal for me, so you might not be surprised to learn I think it could be a great deal for you, too. Of course, only you can decide that, but let me give you the information you need to make an informed decision.

First, what is Essential Rewards (ER)? In short, it’s a program where Young Living distributors agree to sign up for an autoship order each month totalling at least 50 PV. You, as a member can change the order every month, including the shipping date.  You can cancel at any time with a phone call to Young Living’s tremendous Customer Service. When you do this, you earn the following benefits:

  • Your order ships every month. If you want the same items, no changes are necessary
  • You get special shipping rates for ER orders (averaging $1-2 less per order)

For me, personally, the ER Bonus Points are the best aspect of this program with the monthy PV bonuses and loyalty gifts a close second and third. Combined, it makes the program a bargain.

 

Oils: Starter Kits Discounted in February!

What better way to kick off a monthly post about essential oils than to be able to say Starter Kits are discounted 10% this month! I should clarify Premium Starter Kits are discounted 10% this month. There is a basic kit, but, frankly, the only people I can see it benefiting are people who already have a good selection of oils and a diffuser they like. For everyone else? You’re not getting started unless you have a Premium Starter Kit. That’s my thoughts. You may believe differently, and that’s okay. At full price the kit is a bargain, because the individual components cost at least $268.  Full price with the Dewdrop diffuser is $160. For the month of February, your Premium Starter Kit with Dewdrop diffuser is only $144. Here’s what that kit would look like:

You have your choice of diffusers, so if you choose a different diffuser, it will cost you more but you’ll still get that kit at 10% off regular price (except for the Rainstone diffuser). The oils included in the Premium Starter Kit are common, popular oils. In fact, there’s an Everyday Oils collection for $130 that is also a bargain, because the oils included in that kit, if purchased separately, are worth $359.25. If all you do is use those oils regularly, you can subscribe to Essential Rewards and put that collection into your cart for it to be auto-shipped to you every month, and you never have to think about it. There are other benefits for doing this (you can change what products will be shipped at any time, so you’re not stuck with the products you initially selected), but that’s a big one.

You can choose to be a retail customer if you like, but there are so many benefits to being your own Independent Distributor, I’m  not sure why you would want to pay retail. Should you decide to share what you like with someone else, and they choose to become a distributor, you receive certain benefits and bonuses. If you purchase at least 100 PV (point value) of products during a month (being on Essential Rewards ensures you do this), you’re eligible to receive a commission on any purchases made by people you sponsor or who purchase at retail.

Additionally, Young Living offers very nice bonuses for achieving certain PV totals during the month, and those bonuses are worth nearly as much as the cost of the products purchased to achieve those point levels.
