Young Living held their annual international convention in Salt Lake City last month, and they introduced a whirlwind of new products. Before I go any further, I should clarify my post title. Young Living does not provide babies — you must have your own baby. But if you do, they have the marvelous new Seedlings line, designed to give your baby the healthiest start in life yet available. For convention only, they offered this great Seedlings bundle with basket, towel and washcloth to frame the new baby care products. (Many of us would love to see this bundle become a permanent order item, because it’s ideal for baby showers. If not in the full size products, it would be great in a sample size collection.)
The wonderful new products are Diaper Rash Cream (another OTC product), Baby Oil, Baby Wash, Baby Lotion, and Baby Wipes. Each of these products features the proprietary Calm Scent Blend composed of Lavender, Bergamot, Coriander, Geranium, and Ylang Ylang. Most of these products have been out of stock since they were announced. Young Living thought they were prepared for the demand, but Young Living members surprised them. They’ll catch up soon. Hint, adults love these products, too. Baby Wipes are in demand for the next product line announced as makeup remover.
Young Living has had a tremendous line of skin care products for many years now. One thing missing was a make up line. I rarely if ever wear makeup, but one reason for that is I don’t like putting a lot of chemicals on my face. Young Living purchased Melissa Poepping’s line of mineral makeup, and now they have a safe line of products for facial beauty. Savvy Minerals is the name, and they are also offering a beautiful selection of Italian-made brushes for application (they immediately went out of stock but should be available in early August). I ordered everything so I could help people choose what was right for them, and this make up is smooth and beautiful to work with. From the packaging to the product itself, it says “class” and “professionalism.” Natural colors, natural materials, and your inner beauty is enhanced by these products.
Next, they announced more OTC products — Insect Repellent, Sun Screen, and After Sun. Just in time for Summer!
I mentioned Men’s Stuff. The new Shutran 3-in-1 Men’s Bath Wash comes in an 8 oz and a 3 oz size to make travel easier.
Finally, Young Living members have been doing Make and Takes to show people how to make things for themselves with essential oils. Young Living knows how important being able to duplicate something is, so they have released the new DIY Kit. This kit has the components for six people to make three products — a lotion, a lip balm, and a spritzer. All you add is the oils you prefer to add for each item, and your people have a pack of three products to take home with them in a neat organza bag. They also get a copy of the Young Living magazine. All at a cost of $10 for each person.
Young Living has been far more than an essential oil company for quite some time, but these new product lines really raise the bar.
