February 2019 Property Update

San Antonio House: In January, we took the Spitfire down to the San Antonio house and pushed it into the garage. We removed everything we plan to remove except the stove. The new owner made an appearance, got her walk-though, and picked up keys. Mr. L has some things he’s promised her he will do at a to-be-determined date. After this, we will no longer be reporting on the San Antonio house, because it isn’t ours anymore.

The Ranch: Wildlife Management Report for 2018 submitted before the end of 2018. Working this year’s plan now.

The Store: No change.

The Detail Shop: No change.

The Shop: Mr. L has been sorting and putting away parts and other things.  Mr. L got some plumbing work completed in preparation for getting a gas meter installed and an internal heating unit operational.

The Central TX House: Once again, I am behind on winter yard work.

April 2018 Property Update

San Antonio House: All is quiet.

The Ranch: No change

The Store: Mowed.

The Detail Shop: Mowed. Mr. L unclogged a stopped up drain.

The Shop: Mr. L has been sorting and putting away parts and other things. He’s been doing a lot of restoration work on the ranch Jeep. It’s never going to be pretty, but he’s working hard to make it reliably functional.

The Central TX House: Replaced the battery in the lawn tractor, which allowed me to get the lawn mowed. Mr. L repaired some missing shingles on the garage.

March 2018 Property Update

San Antonio House: All is quiet.

The Ranch: Started the wildlife census. Inflated tires on the motor home in preparation for moving it into town. We finished moving most of the small items in to town. The long pole in the tent is the motor home. Then we have about six medium-sized items to get moved.

The Store: Nothing new.

The Detail Shop: Nothing new.

The Shop: Mr. L has been sorting and putting away parts and other things.

The Central TX House: Just little things here at the house.

February 2018 Property Update

San Antonio House: Mr. L rebuilt the toilet and tackled the troublesome garage lighting problem. He also purchased fence pickets and is drying them.

The Ranch: Nothing new.

The Store: Nothing new.

The Detail Shop: Nothing new.

The Shop: Mr. L has been sorting and putting away parts and other things.

The Central TX House: The new dishwasher is installed and blissfully quiet. We can’t hear it running. It was worth replacing a working dishwasher for that feature alone. I cleared vines off the front porch. Mr. L got the living room ceiling fan and lights working. That fan looks marvelous in that room. Rossie’s cage has been disassembled and put away in the garage.
