Since I retired, I’ve chosen to wake up naturally. But my bedroom doesn’t get the morning sun, in the winter months, that leads to me waking up later than I prefer. Enter the Wake Up Light.
The idea behind this light is you are awakened with the natural light and not a jarring noise. If, however, you want the noise, you can select from three nature sounds or an FM radio. The light gradually increases for the thirty minutes before your programmed wake up time to allow you naturally come around when it reaches full power at your alarm time. You do have a snooze control. You can turn the light off yourself in the morning after you get up, or it will turn itself off after 90 minutes.
Another feature I like is the 20 minute night time feature where the light begins as a bedside lamp that gradually dims to turn off after 20 minutes. This guides you to sleep. If you don’t want to be guided to sleep, you can use the lamp setting for a regular bedside lamp. All these features work well.
The literature says the buttons on the top are easy to use, but I find them not as easy as I would like. I’ve only had the lamp about a week, so maybe these will be easier to use as I gain familiarity with them. The wake up light works well. I am happy with it and would recommend it for consideration.
