I’ve been trying to come up with a post for a couple of weeks, but all I have right now is Apple’s announcement next week with the title, “It’s been too long.”  Speculators generally agree Apple will be announcing new iPads and maybe new Macs — iMacs and Airs.  Based upon the title, I think most people can agree some kind of Apple TV announcement is pending — apparently, it’s been four years, and an update is long overdue.  I’d like to think a new Mac Mini will be announced, but the longer they’ve taken to announce it, the more I think maybe my MacBookPro Retina is all I need.

For the Windows crowd, Microsoft announced Windows 10.  The pundits joked they wanted to distance themselves from Windows 8 and 8.1 so badly they completely skipped Windows 9, and I suspect there may be some truth to that.  I know the things I heard about Windows 10 were encouraging.  Windows 10 is less touch-based and more back to the mouse.  I hope there is some useful integration for the Surface adopters out there, but for the people like my husband, Windows 10 sounds like it’s a step in the right direction.
