WordPress 2.1.1 Dangerous; Upgrade to 2.1.2
That’s not exactly the headline you like to see when you login to your Dashboard. On the other hand, I’d prefer to see it on my Dashboard than somewhere else. If you’ve upgraded to WordPress 2.1.1 in the past few days, your installation could be at risk. I’m certain I upgraded mine before that window, but I’m off to install the new version.
Update: That was easy. Note to self: ftp is much zippier on a Saturday afternoon than on a weeknight. It must reflect the load in the neighborhood on the cable modem. It took about ten minutes vice over an hour on a weeknight.
Yeah, I’ve noticed nights–especially weekend nights–are really slow, whereas afternoons are particularly zippy. Glad the upgrade went so easy.
