Nethrone
I tossed my PC Magazine aside when I got it a couple weeks ago. I’m procrastinating tonight, and I began browsing. In FutureWatch, there’s a picture of the next craze in ergonomic computing–the Nethrone. It has footpegs, an ergonomic keyboard shelf, an adjustable flatscreen holder, and a reclining, vibrating chair with headrest. At a mere $2,495 list price, we ought to be seeing them in every home soon. I’d like to see the price drop, but I dread seeing the $249 knockoffs that will start showing up in your local discount store–those things would be downright dangerous.
All they need are computer-controlled pedals, and I could do my recumbent biking while writing or web-surfing. Now that would be cool.
