A couple of weeks ago the funeral home calmed to let me know Alan’s marker has arrived from the VA and I could pick it up. I wanted to get it placed before his birthday next month, so today was the day. His older daughter and her husband met me and two of my friends at the cemetery, and we placed the marker. Then we went to lunch and returned home.
