MindJet MindManager
I purchased Mindjet MindManager after a couple weeks on the trial download. I’ve been using it for several things — whether mapping my ever-expanding job at work (I have version 5 on my desk at work, and that was my first exposure to it) or laying out my NaNo “novel” at home, I’ve found it flexible and easy to use. Today I discovered something very sweet. I copied a section of a web page I wanted to include. I tried the “paste” feature on the software background. Immediately, several windows appeared — one for each paragraph I’d copied. I quickly joined them in the order I wanted them by dragging and dropping. Then, to preserve the reference, I hyperlinked the source website to the main topic (Theme). Beautiful.
If you’re interested, here’s a .png of my NaNo map — as of today. It will change. (Click on the image for a larger shot — click again to enlarge for easier reading.)
