Spam-Be-Gone?
I upgraded to WordPress 2.2 this afternoon. At the same time I did that, I checked the little box on the Akismet configuration page directing Akismet to automatically discard spam on posts older than a month.
Spam doesn’t appear to be rolling in by the hundreds anymore. I hope this trend continues. I have over 140k spam messages caught by Akismet. I should have checked that box earlier!

I like the new template. Inuit really stands out beautifully against the wood grain. The 3-D button bar is cool, too.
I am changing servers so I can get the right version of PHP and MySQL so I can upgrade to 2.2, as well. I’m hoping that will fix some of the weirdness I’ve been having lately.
