Books
It’s NaNo month, so what did I do? I ordered books from Amazon a few weeks ago, and they’ve arrived. What goodies did I get?
These two came last week:
- Responsible, Darlene Ryan
- Behind Closed Doors, Natalie R. Collins
These came yesterday:
- The World Before, Karen Traviss
- Matriarch, Karen Traviss (this author recommended by Margaret Fisk)
- Heartsick, Chelsea Cain
- Straight Man: A Novel, Richard Russo
- Homestead, Rosina Lippi
- Queen of Swords, Sara Donati
- Deadfall, Robert Liparulo (he’s on my auto buy list now)
- Parachutes & Kisses, Erica Jong (because I haven’t read anything of hers for nearly 30 years, and it’s about time)
And, of course, since NaNo month is all about writing, I have also done some reading. I’ve succumbed to the Jack Reacher madness by finally reading Lee Child’s Without Fail. I finished it sometime in the early morning hours this morning.
I’m at 27,554 and need to get back to the keys. Later.
I thought Heartsick was great. I hope you enjoy it!
