Day 7: Fruit
Today, we’re all going to get our fruit. Here’s what’s up for snacking on this week (all zero points, by the way, so I can eat as much as I want):
This is pretty basic fruit, but if you’re a toddler from North Carolina who’s stuck eating state-provided food, you might not recognize this unhealthy stuff. On the left, we have bananas. They are yellow on the outside with a beige-colored fruit on the inside with an interesting texture. In the shiny bowl, we have seedless grapes (purple in color) and strawberries (red in color). I’ve washed the berries and the grapes and removed the stems, making them suitable for snacking on. The bananas are peel and eat the insides. Please dispose of the peels in a proper trash receptacle (or the compost pile if you do such things).
