Day 19: Bokeh
If you’re like me, you’re wondering, “What’s Bokeh?” I looked it up in Wikipedia and gathered it’s just when some things are in focus and others aren’t in your photograph. I thin Bokeh sounds more glamorous, though.
I should have made the time to craft a fresh photograph, but I had two in my Winnipeg Zoo album that I think will serve well:
This, I believe, is a Snowy Owl. Notice how clear the galvanized mesh of the enclosure came out? Note that the owl is a little fuzzy? I had my camera on full auto, and it didn’t realize I wanted the owl to come out clear and the mesh to be blurred.
Now, here’s one that came out more to my liking — the leopard is more clear and the mesh is more fuzzy:
