Photo: Oklahoma Surprises
We spent the weekend in Lawton, Oklahoma for my oldest nephew’s high school graduation. After the main event was successfully concluded, we had a little time on Saturday to check out the sights and attractions for the area.
We visited Mount Scott, the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, and The Holy City of the Wichitas. All spots unknown to me before our visit, but impressive and well worth our time. The day was overcast, which kept it comfortable if not a touch cool when we were on top of Mount Scott. I’ll share a few photos below without much comment, since there really isn’t much I can add.
