Photo: Missing Pieces
If you buy a used jigsaw puzzle, you’re not surprised if a piece or two turns out to be missing, but when you buy a new one, you expect them to be complete.
This fun little puzzle failed to meet minimum expectations. Someone took a bite out of the corner before sealing the package.
Aw, man, what a rotten deal!
Otherwise, it’s a nice picture, though. Kind of Thomas Kinkade-ish.
Mr L gravitates to Thomas Kinkade. I like them well enough, but after a little while, it seems as if we assemble the same puzzle over and over again. I’d be willing to do that, but he buys a new one each time. Puzzles have become outrageously expensive.
Nasty surprise. Can’t you get a refund?
We tend to buy puzzles when we see ones we like. Then we put them on a shelf until we decide to do them. We probably bought this puzzle more than a year ago, and I’m sure the receipt has been thrown away. If we remembered where we bought it and had the receipt, yes, we could get a refund. But, alas, we don’t remember that.
I have bought new ones missing pieces and I have also bought one with an additional piece.
I figure somewhere, someone has an extra corner to this puzzle. It has to happen, right? Quality control can’t catch everything. This one went in the trash.
Bummer, I used to love doing those. Now I am flashing back and have to go on the dig for one.
